Still life painting with melon and dark cherries in a wooden crate
Still life · Quiet details

The beauty of the everyday.

A moment of stillness, shaped by rich colour, texture and familiar forms. In this still life, fruit and a simple wooden setting become a study of contrast — the warmth of the frame, the glow of the melon and the deep tones of ripe cherries.

It reflects the pleasure of looking closely: finding character in ordinary objects and allowing small details to hold the eye.

Painting of three horses in an open landscape
Movement · Freedom

Instinct, strength and freedom.

Three horses move together through an open landscape, each with its own presence and rhythm. Warm earth tones meet the cool blue of the sky, giving the scene a sense of energy while keeping it grounded and calm.

The painting invites the viewer to pause with the movement — to notice the changing forms, the balance between the animals and the feeling of space around them.

Original painting of the Bosphorus, a suspension bridge and boats on blue water
A view shaped by memory

Where the city meets the water.

A vivid Bosphorus scene brings together the sweep of the bridge, the movement of boats and the shoreline’s warm architecture. Deep blues and soft greens give the painting a sense of life and place — an invitation to pause and travel through the artist’s eyes.

Expressive still life with a blue-and-white vessel, bread and melting butter against a warm, textured background
Beyond one style

One artist, many ways of seeing.

From evocative cityscapes to expressive portraits and richly textured still lifes, İrfan Çelik moves confidently between subjects and moods. Here, familiar objects become a playful study of texture, colour and imagination — revealing an artistic voice that is not confined to a single style.

A painting by İrfan Çelik depicting a woman looking across the Bosphorus toward Istanbul's Maiden's Tower
The artist’s world · Istanbul

A moment held between land and sea.

In this view of Istanbul, a seated figure looks across the vivid blue of the Bosphorus toward the Maiden’s Tower. Seagulls cross the open sky, while the city rests along the distant shore beneath a soft wash of light.

Warm earth tones meet bright blues and the quiet movement of the water. The scene brings together place, memory and atmosphere — inviting the viewer to linger a little longer and find their own story within the landscape.

“A place can be remembered as much by its feeling as by its view.”
